Where do I even start? Despite it's raiting, this album is a personal favorite of mine, but it's definately not an easy listen. Dormant Like Breath is one of the oldest tik///tik albums still available on the internet, as the majority of his music has become lost media. The whole album feels like a bad nightmare or a descent into madness and is absolutely brutal in every way. Every time I listen to it I feel genuinely uncomfortable, like something bad is about to happen. The album starts with an onslaught of noise that really sets the mood for what's to follow. The song "See How They Run" is probably the most discomforting track on the album, it's unpredictable and overwelming and feels like an all out sonic assault on the listener. "Dogs Without Teeth" is an oddly discomforting track as well, it makes me feel trapped and a little scared, there's something claustrophobic about it, it's like the walls around me start to close in whenever I listen to it. The final song "With Wet Chains is probably the most melancholic song on the album, it is a very dark and erie yet beautiful track that leaves me with this feeling of discomfort every time I hear it that makes the air in the room feel heavy, and I can't help but sit in silence in order to process my emotions once the song is over, it's soul crushing, it's beautiful, it's the perfect ending. This album will not make you happy, but it will give you a whole new perspective on noise music, and if you're willing to take it on, I think it's absolutely worth the listen
